Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Odegaard, Saka, Tierney And 5 Other Players

Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard is expected to be fit for tomorrow’s game against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup. The Norwegian is available again after recovering from the virus.

Bukayo Saka is likely to recover from a knock he sustained in the closing stages of the first leg at Anfield, while Kieran Tierney and Calum Chambers are also expected to be back in contention after picking up niggles in the same game.

Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf) and Emile Smith Rowe (groin) remain doubts, but both are thought to be closing in on a return to action, and will be assessed by the club’s medical staff ahead of the Liverpool clash.

Cedric Soares is still believed to be struggling with a hip problem and he hasn’t returned to training, so the Portuguese international will almost certainly be missing tomorrow.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has returned from African Cup of Nations duty early after picking up minor heart lesions due to the virus. He will be examined further before he is allowed to return to training.
