Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Lacazette, Smith Rowe And Nelson

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is back in full training following six weeks out with an ankle injury, and he is in contention to feature against Sheffield United on Monday night.

The Frenchman’s last appearance for the Gunners came at the beginning of September when he scored in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham in the North London derby.

There is further good news with the club confirming that Emile Smith Rowe is also back available. The midfielder was taken off after a collision in the 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup last month.

He participated in a full 90-minute training match against Reading last week and he is now fit for selection. He is unlikely to feature against the Blades but he’s now in line to start against Vitoria Guimaraes in the Europa League next week.

Reiss Nelson is the only first-team player who will not be available for the trip to Bramall Lane. The 19-year-old picked up a knee ligament injury against Standard Liege and is still a couple of weeks away from making a return.
