Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Aubameyang, Partey, Kolasinac, Balogun And Xhaka

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed Gabon’s 2-1 defeat to Egypt last night due to injury.

It is not known how serious the problem is and it remains to be seen whether the 32-year-old will be fit to face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.

Thomas Partey’s fitness is also a concern. The midfielder did not join up with Ghana during the international break, as he was getting treatment on a groin problem that prevented him from playing against Watford in the Gunners’ last fixture.

Sead Kolasinac picked up a nasty ankle injury in the first half of Bosnia’s 3-1 defeat to Finland on Saturday and he is expected to be out for quite a while.

Folarin Balogun was taken off due to stomach cramps in England Under 21s’ surprise 3-2 friendly defeat to Georgia yesterday evening but he should be back in contention for the weekend.

Granit Xhaka is continuing his rehabilitation from a knee injury, and he looks on course to get back to full fitness before his estimated return date in January.
