Arsenal’s latest defeat – their third in the space of a week – has seen Arsene Wenger come under plenty of stick.
The Frenchman watched on as his side were humbled 2-1 by the Premier League’s surprise package this season, Brighton at the Amex Stadium yesterday afternoon.
First-half goals for Lewis Dunk and Glenn Murray proved enough to earn all three points for Chris Hughton’s side, capping a miserable week for the Gunners, who endured successive 3-0 defeats at the hands of Manchester City on both last Sunday and Thursday.
The defeat at Brighton sees Arsenal slip even further behind in the race for the top four.
With only 45 points – their worst total at this point in a Premier League season in over two decades – the Gunners sit 13 points behind fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur, and an astonishing 33 behind league leaders Manchester City.
“Wenger Out” are the usual cries from the fans, and something the Arsenal boss has probably become more than accustomed to by now.
But this time round, the Arsenal fans seem to have found a new way to label the failures of the Frenchman, and it is likely to hit home hard …
This season is reaching Moyes at Man United-esque territory for Arsene Wenger.

Here's a question. What would it take with 2.5 months of the season left, for Wenger to out do Moyes post Fergie season?

The state of this Arsenal team is way worse than it was in the Moyes era for us. Even the staunch supporters of Wenger must want him out now..

The feds got hold of Wenger after he pulled the invincibles and got Moyes to occupy his body. Arsene is probably a lab rat somewhere.
