The last meeting was a tense affair at the business end of the Premier League season. A goalless draw ensued but the game wasn’t short of chances as both teams had significant chances to score.
The defences reigned supreme as Manchester City dominated possession with 72% of the ball. However, they were up against the best defence in the league and mustered up 12 shots with all that possession.
The Gunners meanwhile had just six shots on goal and spent much of the game committing fouls as they tried to contain City. It was a cagey and tense meeting.
