RB – Takehiro Tomiyasu
The defender gets better and better with every game. As well as performing his defensive duties extremely well versus Southampton, he was also involved at the other end of the pitch.
Tomiyasu contributed in the build-up to two of the Gunners’ goals and probably should have gotten on the scoresheet himself. He will need to be on his guard, though, against Said Benrahma if the Algerian starts tonight.
