La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have revived their interest in Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Frenchman came close to signing for Atletico four years ago, but a transfer ban stopped the Spanish side from completing the deal, leading to the player joining the Gunners instead.

With Lacazette now in the last year of his contract, it appears that manager Diego Simeone is keen to get his man at the second time of asking, with the player now available for a knockdown price.

The 30-year-old reportedly has a £15m valuation, with Arsenal looking to sell him now before he can leave on a free transfer next year.

If Lacazette were to be sold, it’s likely that the London club would go out and find a replacement, with Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham said to be the top target to reinforce manager Mikel Arteta’s options up front.
