Kolasinac, Torreira And Lacazette In, Willock and Guendouzi Out: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Spurs

Arsenal will be looking to get one over their North London rivals when they face Tottenham at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. Both teams go into the derby after losses but the Gunners are likely to be the ones in a more positive frame of mind.

They could have been swept away by Liverpool in the 3-1 defeat last weekend but manager Unai Emery praised the character of his team as they finished the match strongly. In contrast, Spurs slumped to a surprise 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle.

Arsenal could unleash their much-hyped front three for the first time, with Alexandre Lacazette having shaken off an ankle knock which has hampered him in the opening weeks of the campaign.

With Nacho Monreal having left the club to join Real Sociedad, Sead Kolasinac will likely get his first start of the season with Kieran Tierney not quite ready for his debut.

After scoring against Liverpool, Lucas Torreira could also come into the side to add the energy and bite needed in the North London derby. Matteo Guendouzi could make way with Granit Xhaka expected to lead out the side as captain.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Tottenham:

Leno, Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Torreira, Ceballos, Xhaka, Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang
