Juventus Set To Offer £10.8m Rated Defender In Attempt To Sign Hector Bellerin

Juventus will offer centre-back Daniele Rugani in their bid to sign Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, according to TuttoJuve.com.

The Italian website say the defender, who is rated at £10.8m by Transfermarkt, is surplus to requirements at the Serie A champions and they are hoping that the Gunners will be tempted into a player swap deal.

Bellerin is still very much part of head coach Mikel Arteta first-team plans. Cedric Soares may have been brought in on a free transfer but the Portuguese international has not dislodged his fellow right-back from the starting eleven.

There were, however, reports in Germany recently suggesting Bellerin is unsettled in London and would like a move away from the Emirates but those claims have not been substantiated.

In terms of Rugani, the 26-year-old has been a target for Arsenal in the past, but with the club closing in on a deal for Lille’s Gabriel Magalhaes, they are unlikely to still be interested.
