Juventus Now Ask For A SECOND Arsenal Player In Arthur Talks (After Partey Request Was Dismissed)

Juventus have asked about the availability of Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney in negotiations over a loan move for Arthur, according to Calciomercatoweb.it.

Reports in Italy over the weekend had claimed that the Bianconeri had enquired about Thomas Partey, only to be told in no uncertain terms that the Ghanaian is not for sale.

It seems a similar thing has happened with Tierney, as Calciomercatoweb report that the Gunners have said to Juve that the Scottish international is not available, either this month or in the summer.

The talks about signing Arthur do seem to have hit a roadblock. Various sources have suggested that Juventus won’t do a deal unless they can find a replacement and, at this stage, no player looks close to joining the Serie A side.

After reports about Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek being an option, the latest name to be linked is Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria. A move could be done relatively cheaply for the Swiss international, considering his contract expires in the summer, but we shall see if a transfer can be agreed.
