Juventus Keen On ‘Double’ Swap Deal With Arsenal Involving Aubameyang And Aaron Ramsey

Juventus are weighing up whether to offer up two players in their attempts to sign Arsenal pair Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hector Bellerin, according to Calciomercatoweb.it.

The Italian website claims that the Bianconeri may propose using Aaron Ramsey and Merih Demiral in a “double” swap deal, with the Serie A side believing that the valuations of the players involved would add up, so very little money would need to change hands.

Juve value Aubameyang at around €40m (£34m) and Bellerin at €20m (£17m), while they believe Ramsey is worth €25m (£21.6m) and Demiral around the €40m (£34m) mark.

Whether the Gunners would be open to such a deal, it isn’t known. The return of Ramsey may be something worth considering, due to the fact that manager Mikel Arteta is after a playmaker, while reinforcing their centre-back options with Demiral may be seen as a good idea.

However, Juventus’s valuations of the two Arsenal stars, especially Bellerin, are questionable. The Spaniard is likely to leave the Emirates in the summer but the Gunners would be hoping for more than £17m, even in the current financial climate. We shall see if there is any truth to this rumour.
