Representatives of Orlando City winger Facundo Torres are hoping to “resume talks” with Arsenal ahead of a “formal move” for the Uruguayan, according to journalist Lorenzo Lepore.
Multiple reports have confirmed that the Gunners are interested in the player and Lepore says he has had it confirmed from Torres’s entourage that they are anticipating further discussions “after the World Cup”:

The situation, as I had already anticipated, is the same, the camp and #Arsenal will talk to each other again after the #WorldCup.

Torres was signed by Orlando for £7.8m from Penarol at the start of this year and he has had a strong first campaign in MLS, racking up 13 goals and 10 assists in 40 appearances.
The 22-year-old’s performances were enough for him to be included in Uruguay’s World Cup squad but he didn’t get off the bench as his country were knocked out at the group stages.
Arsenal are said to be prioritising a move for a winger ahead of the transfer window next month. In addition to Torres, PSV’s Cody Gakpo and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk are also reportedly targets.
