Arsenal have “met” with the representatives of Lille midfielder Amadou Onana, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The French reporter says that the Gunners are not the only team pursuing the Belgian, with the player attracting “strong interest” from other London clubs as well:

One of those teams is likely to be West Ham, who have also been credited with an interest in Onana in recent months, so Mikel Arteta’s side may have a battle on their hands to secure the player’s signature.
It is believed that Lille may demand a significant amount for the 20-year-old as they owe his previous club Hamburg 20% of any fee that they receive for the midfielder.
Onana could be sold for between €20m (£17.2m) and €25m (£21.6m) which shouldn’t deter Arsenal if they are serious about making a bid. The Gunners are believed to be considering their options in terms of reinforcing their numbers in the middle of park, with Leicester’s Youri Tielemans and Lens’ Seko Fofana also on the club’s radar.
