Borussia Dortmund have slapped a €25m (£22.6m) price tag on attacking midfielder Julian Brandt, according to Football.London‘s Arsenal correspondent Chris Wheatley:

The Gunners are thought to be considering a move for the German international, along with the likes of Norwich’s Emi Buendia, Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen and Real Madrid’s Isco, as they look to sign a playmaker this month.
It appears Brandt could well be one of the cheapest options available if Wheatley’s sources are to be believed. The midfielder has struggled for game time this season and he was an unused substitute in Dortmund’s 2-0 win over Wolfsburg on Sunday.
The 24-year-old would have been hoping that the appointment of a new head coach, Edin Terzic, could change his fortunes but it seems he is very much on the fringes of the Bundesliga side’s first team currently.
Wheatley does confirm reports that Brandt is interested in making the switch to the Emirates and it looks as though it will be up to Arsenal to find the funds for the transfer.
