Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – had very little to do against the Magpies other than to pick the ball out of the net for Joe Willock’s goal. He should have an equally quiet night on Monday.
RB – Ben White – the 26-year-old’s form has improved in recent weeks and you wouldn’t think that he will have much of a problem with a Blades forward line that has struggled to score goals this season.
CB – William Saliba – the centre-back kept Newcastle striker Alexander Isak quiet for the most part so you can’t see him being troubled by the likes of Rhian Brewster, Oli McBurnie or William Osula.
CB – Gabriel – the Brazilian international has been outstanding over the past few months. His ability not only to defend his own box but to be a threat at the other end from set-pieces has proven to be a huge asset.
LB – Jakub Kiwior – Oleksandr Zinchenko is said to be winning his fitness battle after spending the best part of a month out with a calf injury. However, he may only be fit enough for the bench. In any case, Kiwior has shown that he is a more than capable replacement.
