Arteta has mentioned that Gabriel and Saliba speak in three different languages (Portuguese, French and English) to communicate on the pitch, which is unusual, but they seem to have a great understanding of each other’s game.
Gabriel will, of course, be disappointed to be left out of Brazil’s squad for the World Cup but he can use that snub to fuel his performances at club level.
