Jesus And Tierney To Start, Tomiyasu On The Bench: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Take On Leeds

After an excellent display against Liverpool last weekend, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be hesitant about making too many changes for the trip to Leeds on Sunday.

Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal, while William Saliba and Gabriel will continue their partnership in the centre of defence. There could be a change at fullback, with Kieran Tierney coming in for Takehiro Tomiyasu in order to provide more width on the left. Ben White is expected to line up on the opposite flank.

In midfield, Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka have been playing superbly and they will be very important at Elland Road this weekend. Captain Martin Odegaard will play in his usual number 10 role.

Up front, there are some doubts about Gabriel Jesus’s fitness after he was absent from the matchday squad versus Bodo/Glimit midweek but he should be available to face Leeds. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will make up the rest of the forward line.
