James McNicholas Reveals Arsenal’s Stance On Signing Dejan Kulusevski

Arsenal are unlikely to make a move for Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski during the January transfer window, according to The Athletic‘s James McNicholas.

The journalist, who is very reliable when it comes to the Gunners, claims that, while the London club do “admire” the Swedish international, there is currently no room in the squad for him.

Bukayo Saka is first choice on the right flank and, with Nicolas Pepe still on the books, it’s unlikely that another player would be signed in the same position next month.

McNicholas does, however, suggest that if Pepe were to leave in January then the situation could change but, for the time being, a bid for Kulusevski is not imminent.

Reports in Italy have linked the 21-year-old with other Premier League sides, including Tottenham and Manchester United, but Juve are reportedly demanding €35m (£29m) for the player, so we shall see where he ends up.
