The Spaniard will head into the Forest game with increased confidence after his performance versus Palace.
Raya played a crucial role in Arsenal’s third goal, starting a counter-attack with a quick throw to Gabriel Jesus.
That’s the type of play that Gunners’ supporters will want to see more of from the 28-year-old.
Forest are, though, likely to test Raya more in terms of his shot-stopping. The City Ground is a tricky place to go and Arsenal’s No.1 may need to be on hand to make some good saves.
