Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is keen on leaving the Ligue One side before the transfer window closes, according to reports in the French media.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City, as well as the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, are said to be interested in the Frenchman but Lyon are prepared to hold out for €60m (£55m) if they do have to sell the player.
The only club who have made a formal offer for Aouar so far are the Gunners but their bid, which included Matteo Guendouzi in a part-exchange deal, was rejected. Even so, fans on Twitter are excited by the prospect of the 22-year-old moving to the Emirates:

At the time of writing, Arsenal have not made a second bid for the France Under 21 international and it is thought they are unlikely to do so if they can’t offload some fringe players in order to raise funds.
