“It’s Already Been Decided…” Agent Of Serie A Playmaker Speaks Out As Rumours About £35M Arsenal Switch Increase

The agent of reported Arsenal target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has confirmed that the Lazio playmaker’s future will be resolved after discussions at the end of the season.

Speculation in the Italian press has suggested that Arsenal, Newcastle and Juventus are vying to sign the Serbian international, but his representative Mateja Kezman says they will hold talks with Lazio president Claudio Lotito before making a decision on whether to leave the Serie A club:

“Every day hearing stories about the contract and the future is very unpleasant for both me and him. We’ve talked to Lotito many times, it’s already been decided to finish the season, then we’ll have time to talk about everything.”

The most recent claims suggest that Juve are the ones pressing to sign Milinkovic-Savic, but they may not be able to match Lazio’s €40m (£35m) asking price.

Both the Gunners and Newcastle did make approaches for the 28-year-old last summer and, with the midfielder only having twelve months left on his contract, it has been reported that both teams will revive their interest.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is aiming to reinforce his options in the middle of the park, but it is believed that West Ham’s Declan Rice, not Milinkovic-Savic, is their primary target at the moment.
