“It’s A Dream” Bukayo Saka Makes Frank Admission As Doubts Over His Arsenal Future Surface

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka says he does harbour ambitions of playing in the Champions League and he would like to take part in the tournament on a regular basis.

Speaking in a recent interview about what he wants to achieve in his career, the 20-year-old said that he is keen to experience playing in Europe’s top competition:

“I think the Champions League creates so many special nights and it’s a dream for me still to experience one of them and hopefully many more of them.”

Usually, these comments would be pretty innocuous but there are growing reports that Saka is being pursued by the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

One of the key reasons why the two clubs believe they have a chance of signing the England international is because they know the player is keen on playing in the Champions League.

Saka’s comments confirm this but it doesn’t mean he will be leaving the Emirates. He could well satisfy his ambition by staying put. The Gunners are four points off the Champions League places, and they have three games in hand over fourth-placed West Ham.

If they can secure European qualification, it would make Saka’s decision a lot easier. Arsenal are said to be lining up a contract extension so, if things go right on the pitch, he will likely sign it.
