Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is rated at 50/50 to be available for Monday’s game against Crystal Palace, according to reports in England.
After picking up a hip injury in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool earlier this month, it was believed that he would be out for at least two to three weeks.
It, therefore, seems that Ramsdale could make a slightly earlier than expected comeback at Selhurst Park. Fans on Twitter are very happy to hear that the 23-year-old is nearing full fitness but some don’t want him to risk returning before he’s ready:
It will be a massive boost for us if he’s fit to play

Don’t rush him back if he isn’t ready. REALLY want him to be but we have to be careful!

Need Ramsdale to be ready or we’re gonna get xooged by Viera’s press

Leno gives away too many balls to the opposition through his kicking
We need Dale back imo— Alesh〽️ (@AleseOlamide) March 31, 2022
No need to rush him back. Same with Tomiyasu.
Don’t want them injuring themselves again.
Leno and Cedric are worthy replacements in the short term.— Steven Carr (@StevenC69884163) March 31, 2022
Crystal Palace knows how to play their way around a press so having ramsdale back is a must cos I can’t watch that leno’s disaster class distribution against villa again

Bernd Leno did well in Ramsdale’s absence in the win over Aston Villa last time out so supporters are right to say there is no need to take make any rash decisions when it comes to selecting the keeper.
Even so, if Ramsdale is available, it would be a big benefit. The Englishman’s ability to play out from the back could come in useful against a difficult opponent like Palace. We shall see who starts in goal on Monday night.
