‘It Is Always Flattering” 20 Year Old Confirms He Would Be Open To PL Switch Following Interest From Arsenal And Chelsea

Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano says he would be interested in making the switch to the Premier League, following reports that both Arsenal and Chelsea are following his progress.

The 20-year-old has not yet made his senior debut but he has impressed in the Nerazzurri’s youth teams since moving from his native Uruguay in January last year.

When asked about a potential transfer to either Arsenal or Chelsea in the future, Satriano said he was delighted that both London clubs were monitoring his development:

“It is always flattering (the interest from the Premier League), yes, it is a sign that I am doing things well and that I have to continue down that path. I try to use it as an incentive to keep working and be better every day.”

“The Premier League is the No.1 league in the world in terms of competition, that I think all the players want to play, I think all the teams are very good. It is a very competitive league where any team can beat anyone. But for now, I am totally focused on Inter and to do the best with them.”

The Uruguayan is clearly a talented forward, having scored six goals in 10 appearances for Inter‘s Under 19s so far this campaign. His performances have even impressed first team manager Antonio Conte who named him as a substitute for three league games back in October.

Whether Arsenal will look to make a formal approach for Satriano in the near future, it remains to be seen. The Gunners already have a number of young talented strikers in the squad, such as Gabriel Martinelli and Folarin Balogun.
