Hopefully he does because he would represent a massive boost for Arsenal’s attack. The 24 year old has had a brilliant couple of seasons, and next to Jackson Martinez, he stood out as one of the most efficient strikers in Europe. Even though some might argue that the French league is nowhere nearly as demanding as the Premier League, it is still impressive to see such a young striker have such a productive season. With 53 goals and 16 assists in two seasons Lacazette is or should fall under Wenger’s star player category.

According to the Daily Express, the French international dropped a huge hint he could change teams this summer after adding a tweet regarding negotiations between Wenger and Lyon to his favorites tab. He then removed it after fans started reacting to his post. It would not be the first time such a thing happened. Chelsea’s Nathan gave all sorts of hints he will be moving to London before rumors even emerged. It would be amazing news to know Lacazette would be coming to the Emirates. If he manages even half of what he did during the last seasons for Lyon he would still be a successful transfer. He is not only efficient but versatile and could be signed for £27million. The 24 year old is under contract with the French side until 2018 but he looks keen on leaving early in order to satisfy his financial expectations and his chances of fighting for the Champions League trophy.
