Inter May Consider Offering 20 Goal Argentine Ace In Attempt To Land Arsenal Star

Inter Milan may look to offer Mauro Icardi in their attempts to sign Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Tuttosport (via Sport Witness).

It does appear that swap deals will be a common occurrence when the transfer window reopens with clubs unlikely to have much cash to spend.

With Inter keen on snapping up Aubameyang, Tuttosport suggest Icardi as a possible makeweight, although it must be pointed out they don’t make the claim that the Nerazzurri are prepared to make the exchange at the moment.

It is, however, fair to say that Icardi does not have a future at the Serie A side. He made the loan move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer and has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season.

PSG do have the option to sign the Argentine on a permanent basis for £61m so it will be up to the French club, rather than Inter, where he is playing his football next campaign.
