Insigne To Snub Arsenal Offer

Insigne To Snub Arsenal Offer

Lorenzo Insigne seems to have turned down possible negotiations with Arsenal after admitting it is too early to leave Napoli. The 23 year old who is valued at £17million by Wenger, responded to new speculation by saying he feels honored a club as big as Arsenal want him. According to the Mirror though, there is no chance for any move to take place even after the World Cup in Brazil. It was always going to be hard to sign Insigne who was one of Napoli’s main men last season. He scored some important goals and convinced the Italian side that selling him is out of the question.

The player’s agent pointed out that even if Insigne should consider an offer from Arsenal, Napoli will surely oppose it. They have a very ambitious project ahead of them and the young Italian star seems to be an important part of that project. With that being said, Wenger will have to redirect his attention towards other players who are ready for a move. Insigne is versatile enough to fill in many positions which is exactly what Wenger needs considering the squad injury problems he had to face during last season so it is a shame in some ways he is not a viable option.

Apparently Loic Remy is the most likely transfer to take place. The striker who can also play as a winger is closer to the Emirates than ever and he is a proven entity in the Prmeier League. He represents a great alternative to Insigne who might have had problems adapting to Premier League football due to his somewhat small stature.
