Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta has promised to make a move for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin if he is elected president of the Catalan club, according to reports in the UK.
Laporta is believed to already have an agreement in place with the representatives of the player, although any bid will only be made next summer as the defender is not willing to move in January.
A bid of £22m, plus add-ons, is said to be in the works for Bellerin, and fans on Twitter would be open to letting the 25-year-old go if the Gunners do receive a bid of that amount:

Good for both parties. Bellerin needs a move.. gone stale and fans on his back due to the team’s poor performances.

Find that hard to believe but if it’s true the board should jump at that offer
— dougie17 (@dougie175) December 20, 2020
Let him go

Any offer will very much depend on Laporta winning the presidential election and, even then, the situation of the player and Barca could be very different at the end of the season.
Currently, Bellerin is struggling for form, having been overlooked by manager Mikel Arteta in favour of Ainsley Maitland-Niles for the Everton game. If he recovers his form, though, supporters may not be as willing to let him go.
