Arsenal are reportedly weighing up whether to make a move for PSV Eindhoven captain Cody Gakpo.
The Gunners are keen to strengthen their options out wide after missing out on Raphinha to Barcelona, and Gakpo has been on the club’s radar for quite some time.
There has been a mixed reaction from fans on Twitter about Arsenal’s interest in Gakpo. While some believe the Dutchman has the ability to make an impact in the Premier League, others are not so sure:

The likes of Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with Gakpo in recent months so he is rated by some top clubs, and he is captain of his team at the age of 23 so that says something about his character as well.
Gakpo would also make a bit more sense than Raphinha in terms of where he plays. The Netherlands international prefers to cut in onto his stronger right foot from the left flank; a position where the Gunners could do with strengthening.
