Arsenal could raise up to £124.2m from the sale of six players this summer, according to Football.London.
The website believes Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Eddie Nketiah and Ainsley Maitland-Niles will be sold at the end of the season, while there is a strong possibility that Hector Bellerin and Alexandre Lacazette will be offloaded too.
They then, rather circumspectly, use the six stars’ Transfermarkt valuations to assess what the Gunners could receive in terms of transfer fees. Supporters on Twitter are very sceptical about the number used:
If we get £12.42 I’ll be surprised tbh

Bellerin, Nketiah and Torreira I agree to sell, however Guendouzi deserves another chance. Lacazette i’d keep unless we’re bringing in a new striker.

To be honest, Transfermarkt values can sometimes overestimate or underestimate price tags. You also have to consider the situation some of these players find themselves in.
Lacazette has one year left on his contract, Bellerin is keen on leaving for a new challenge while Torreira has personal issues, which means he wants to move back to South America. It may, therefore, lead to Arsenal getting a lot less for the players in question than anticipated.
