Arsenal are reportedly considering a loan offer for AC Milan winger Hakan Calhanoglu, with the Rossoneri prepared to offload the Turkish international in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old has only scored two goals and provided one assist in 18 games this season, and supporters on Twitter are very sceptical about the reasons behind making a move for the Serie A star:
I'd rather see 11 mustafi's than this guy

That’s not Ziyech.
He’s a horrible footballer

We don't need him, we need defenders

Calhanoglu would hardly be a priority considering his favoured role is on the left-wing, where the Gunners already have a host of options.
As well as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who can play out wide, the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson have all played in the position this season.
Most fans would prefer the club to focus on signing another centre-back in order to shore up a defence which has been very shaky this campaign. After Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, Arsenal have now conceded 31 goals in 22 league games.
