How Will Arsenal’s Attack Look Next Season?

Wenger’s moves are hinting at one or possibly two transfers when it comes to Arsenal’s attacking line. According to Squawka, the Frenchman has agreed to terms with Fenerbahce for Joel Campbell who will be leaving soon. To be fair, the forward deserved a permanent move considering he has struggled when given the chance to prove himself at Arsenal. The next in line to leave is Podolski who despite being confident he will have decent opportunities during his last year of contract, decided to sit down and talk to any club that might require his services. Aside from the two, Serge Gnabry and Chuba Akpom are also close to either a loan deal or a permanent contract with a different club. Even if they stay they will still have a hard time keeping up with the Champions League pace or with a full Premier League season.

That leaves Welbeck, Sanchez, Walcott and Giroud to run the attack. It would be close to impossible to have 4 players playing at 4 positions during the entire length of a season, not to mention the fact that none of them are in their element playing as left wingers. With that in mind, Wenger is surely considering signing at least two attacking players. Jackson Martinez seems the closest to the Emirates as rumors of him already agreeing to terms with Arsenal have emerged although he has now been seriously linked to a move to AC Milan. Even so he is still a center forward. Other options include Higuain, Cavani and Lacazette. With little to no options for the left side of the attack, could Wenger be considering using Cazorla or Ozil in that part of the pitch? Not sure what the answer is but a solution should be found soon as to be in place for the start of the Premier League.
