Key Passes

Tierney

A key pass is a pass directly preceding a shot on goal. This metric will give us a good indication as to who is the most active in creating goalscoring chances for their respective teams.

In the first half of the Premier League season, it is Robertson who comes out on top, averaging 1.88 key passes per 90 minutes, with Tierney (1.45) and Chilwell (1.23) trailing behind the Liverpool defender.
