The defender has not taken part in training over recent days but Arteta may have to take a gamble on the player’s fitness on Sunday.
Gabriel is also not fit, after being taken off with a suspected hamstring problem versus the Magpies, so White may have to play through the pain barrier for the final game of the campaign.
