Holding And Jesus To Start, Saliba Out: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Palace

Arsenal will be disappointed with the way they exited the Europa League on Thursday night but they won’t have much time to reflect as they switch their attention back to the Premier League this weekend.

Aaron Ramsdale is expected to start in goal against Crystal Palace but there could be some changes in the back four. Takehiro Tomiyasu is injured, while William Saliba is a major doubt after being substituted against Sporting.

It means Rob Holding could get a rare runout alongside Gabriel in the centre of defence, with Ben White at right-back and Oleksandr Zinchenko on the opposite flank.

In midfield, manager Mikel Arteta is likely to recall captain Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey, with Jorginho and Fabio Vieira making way. Granit Xhaka is set to keep his place.

Up front, after getting 45 minutes versus Sporting, Gabriel Jesus may be called into action from the start once again. With Eddie Nketiah still injured and Leandro Trossard having sustained a knock on Thursday, the Brazilian may be selected in the eleven. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are expected to line up either side of him.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Play Crystal Palace:

Ramsdale, White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka, Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
