Henry’s Future Closely Related To Arsenal

Wenger is confident that he will collaborate with Thierry Henry in the future even if Arsenal’s former captain will not return to score goals. The French manager is the one who insisted for Henry to play back when he was 17. Wenger is a known fan of his fellow compatriot who just announced leaving the New York Red Bulls. According to SkySports though, The Gunners’ former captain is expected to come back after he retires. He is one of the most respected players ever to put on the red and white shirt.

Henry had not made up his mind yet regarding his future. Even though he is looking to start a coaching career, it will be difficult for him to come to Arsenal right now when things are not that great. Rumors have it that he will probably return to France and start from the bottom and work his way up. Wenger could step in though as he repeatedly told the press that Henry’s place is in London. Returning to Arsenal as a player is out of the question it seems. Despite probably being able to help the Gunners, Henry is well aware of how difficult his life would be in the Premier League now that he is 37. The Frenchman retired from the Red Bulls on Monday and could be taking some much deserved free time until the end of the season. It still remains to be seen if his return to the Emirates will happen in 2015.
