Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka was involved in all three goals as a young Gunners team beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in the Europa League last night.

The 18-year-old laid the ball on for Joe Willock’s opener, scored with a superb left-footed shot for the second and passed to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to seal the win.

Supporters on Twitter were effusive about Saka’s performance with many wanting manager Unai Emery to select him for Premier League games:

The teenager was excellent yesterday evening and it will be interesting to see how much football he gets over the coming weeks. With Alexandre Lacazette out with an ankle injury until October, there is an opening for him in the front three.

Reiss Nelson did not start last night suggesting he is the favourite to play against Aston Villa on Sunday, but Saka’s man of the match display versus Frankfurt may sway Emery towards starting him once again this weekend.
