Six is six now for Arsenal under Unai Emery.

The Gunners win last night over Brentford meant they have now won all of their last half dozen games in all completions.

Alexandre Lacazette is finally looking like the man Arsenal shed out £45 million for in 2017. Mesut Ozil has added work-rate to his undoubted ability – Emery has drilled work-rate into the talented German. Youngster Mateo Guendouzi looks one for the future, whilst summer signing Lucas Torreira is promising to be the tenacious midfielder the club have craved for more than a decade.

But, and it’s a big but, Arsenal still look weak at the back.

The summer additions of veteran duo Sokratis and Stephan Lichtsteiner certainly bolstered the Gunner’s options in defence. But injuries to Laurent Koscielny, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac, have left Unai Emery with a worrying lack of options.

Should the Spaniard’s preferred back four of Hector Bellerin, Sokratis, Shkodran Mustafi and Kolasinac be fit – it’s still not a particularly convincing line-up.

Come January, re-enforcing the defence once again is crucial, especially is the Gunners are to fulfil their ambitions of making the top four. But who should they sign? Have your say below …
