Arsenal defender Calum Chambers was again impressive for the Gunners as manager Unai Emery selected him at right-back in the 1-0 win against Bournemouth.
The 24-year-old has been in excellent form so far this season, and his switch to fullback has certainly paid dividends. Supporters on Twitter have been crediting the player’s improvement since his return to the club:
I honestly thought he was done after Ostersunds but he has shown he still has the quality to play for us. Hats off to him.

Chambers is certainly a versatile player. He spent most of last season as a holding midfielder out on loan at Fulham, but he started the first game of the campaign with Arsenal as a centre-back in the victory versus Newcastle.
After being benched for subsequent games, he was then given a run at fullback after replacing Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the position following his teammate’s sending off against Aston Villa.
With Hector Bellerin now back to full fitness, it will be interesting to see how long Emery persists with Chambers before opting to give the Spaniard an extended run in the side.
