Gunners Get Confidence Boost After Impressive Win Against Newcastle

Arsenal managed an impressive win against Newcastle and average 4 goals per match during their last two confrontations. Defeating Galatasaray on their own pitch and making audiences cheer at the Emirates got Wenger’s confidence up. According to SkySports, the Frenchman felt backed up and insisted that just a handful of fans have problems with the way things are going at the club. These were replies to what happened after and during the game against Stoke when Gooners tired saying their goodbyes. Fortunately for all, Giroud and Cazorla were on top of their game and scored some really amazing goals. The Spaniard was especially impressive, after embarrassing his opponents with every chance he got.

Wenger was happy with the results showing up on the score board for the past two matches and informed the press that he is more than able to handle both praise and critiques. After spending 18 years in the Premier League, he has seen a lot and has gone through many tough times with the club. Dealing with the decade long trophy drought was the most difficult period to handle. Apparently that took a toll on the Frenchman’s credibility who is now clearly out of grace with a small percentage of fans who always ask for a new manager. Hopefully Wenger will get full support if he manages to win at least one trophy this season which up until now, has had a lot of ups and downs.
