Gooners Rejoice On Twitter As Arsenal Sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ozil Expected To Sign New Deal While Giroud Joins Chelsea

It’s official! Arsenal have secured one of the most-wanted strikers in the world.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was signed for a whopping £56m which is amazing and seemed like it might never happen to be honest.

This has been a big, big season for the Gunners who seem to have started spending serious cash. Currently Wenger has strikers worth in excess of £100million now that Auba has joined Lacazette at Arsenal.

Over time the Gabonese international striker has been linked with moves to a host of other big clubs in the Premier League including Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United while there has also been interest from La Liga’s bigger clubs so Arsenal securing him has to be quite the statement from the club.

The signing of Aubameyang is reported to be likely to trigger a numnber of other moves including Arsenal moving Olivier Giroud to Chelsea and Dortmund signing a new striker who is rumoured to Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.

Twitter exploded when seeing the former Dortmund man in the red and white shirt.

Also, see what other players had to say about this amazing transfer:

This is something many fans have been dreaming about so let’s be patient with the lad and give him time to acclimatise. Aubameyang is 28 years old so his best years may well be ahead of him.

It seems as though Gunners owner Stan Kroenke has finally released the purse strings which no matter how you feel about signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has to be a good thing for the future of the club.

UPDATE: In the latest breaking news the move of Olivier Giroud to Chelsea has been confirmed and as a result Michy Batshuayi has joined Dortmund on loan and in a stunning development Sky Sports News are reporting that a contract extension has been agreed in principle between Mesut Ozil and Arsenal.

This is amazing news as Ozil’s recent performances had shown a renewed vigour and enthusiasm indicating that he was playing for a future at the Emirates. As it turns out Arsene Wenger will be proven right when the deal is finalised in the next couple of days as the Gunners’ boss had been saying that the German World Cup winner was going to sign a new contract to remain an Arsenal player.
