Arsenal are keen on reviving a deal for Dalian Yifang winger Yannick Carrasco, according to reports.
The Belgian has said he is in negotiations with a club from Europe, with many assuming that it is the Gunners who are the team he will join.
Whether that is true or not, fans on Twitter have been debating whether Carrasco would be a good signing for the club. Some think he will be a decent addition to the squad:
Get this deal done ASAP and move to the next one.

He will add some firepower to our front line so they should try everything they can to make deal a successful one.
I love Carrasco and he has always been a joy to watch. #AFC

However, other supporters are yet to be convinced:
Tbh,I would be a bit disappointed that we sign him for the important role as winger in Emery system,he has left european competition for 2 years, and was inconsistent with A. Madrid .

He is not worth even up to 20 million. You people should give it a rest.

So now we are buying mercenary too.

Really? The dude who left to China purely for greed over the premier league proven winger who was second in assists only behind Hazard?♂️ Imagine what Fraser could do with quality strikers like Auba and Laca. Should honestly be going in for both but I’d prioritize Fraser.

Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser is a player Arsenal have also been heavily linked with in recent weeks and there is a debate to be had whether the Cherries winger would have been a better choice.
The 26-year-old has experience of the Premier League, unlike Carrasco, and would likely be available for a relatively low amount due to his contract expiring next summer.
If Carrasco is indeed closing in on a move to the Emirates, he will need to prove some doubters wrong.
