Arsenal will make the trip to Newcastle on the opening day of the season, it has been confirmed.
The Gunners then have Burnley at home, followed by Liverpool away and North London rivals Tottenham at the Emirates.
Unai Emery’s side could have had an easier start, and fans on Twitter have been debating how many points the club will get from the opening four fixtures:

Realistically we can get at least 7 points from these games.

Currently, it isn’t known who will be in charge at Newcastle next campaign with Rafa Benitez’s contract expiring at the end of this month.
If the Spaniard remains at his post, going to St James’ Park won’t be easy, but if another manager is at the helm, it could be a different story.
In terms of the other games, you would expect the Burnley game would be a banker three points, but there’s no hiding that a trip to Anfield will be a stern test.
A North London derby at home should take care of itself, no matter how early in the season it is.
