Arsenal have announced that midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is the fans’ player of the month for September. The Frenchman beat the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Calum Chambers to the award.
The majority of supporters believe the 20-year-old is fully deserving of the honour, although some think that others in the squad put in better performances last month:

Guendouzi continues to develop his game, and he has consistently been the best central midfielder in Arsenal’s squad since the beginning of the campaign.
The France Under 21 international never shirks responsibility and will take on opponents with his driving runs forward on the ball. His most notable being his mazy run that won the penalty in the 3-2 victory over Aston Villa a couple of weeks back.
However, his standout moment from September has to be his sublime pass to Aubameyang for the Gabon international to score the equaliser in the North London derby at the start of the month.
