Fulham Vs Arsenal: Match Preview & Injury News

Arsenal will be looking to maintain their strong position at the summit of the Premier League table with a win – however, they’ll have to beat a tough Fulham side to get what they want.

The Gunners will be without Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Jesus for the game against the Cottagers at the weekend. The former Manchester City striker could return relatively soon – but there is no indication as to when Elneny will play again.

Emile Smith Rowe is also a doubt, after the 22-year-old was brought off with an injury in Arsenal’s last Premier League game.

In their previous Premier League outing, Arsenal picked up a win against Bournemouth in dramatic fashion. The Gunners went 2-0 down in the first half – the Cherries’ first goal was scored after just nine seconds. Arsenal clawed the game back to 2-2, before Reiss Nelson caused the Emirates Stadium to erupt as he scored a brilliant last-minute winner.

Meanwhile, Fulham also played out an exciting 3-2 game in their last fixture against Brentford – unlike the Gunners, they would be on the losing end of the scoreline. Fulham’s goals were scored by Manor Solomon and Carlos Vinícius.

The two teams last met back in August, where Arsenal picked up the three points. They fell behind, thanks to a strike from former Newcastle player Aleksandar Mitrovic, but the Gunners managed to carve out a win with goals from Martin Odegaard and Gabriel.

A win could put Arsenal eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City – can they do the business?
