Arsenal interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg hasn’t wasted any time making some changes to the first-team squad after promoting Tyreece John-Jules from the Under 23s.
The 18-year-old impressed during pre-season but he hasn’t made his senior debut in a competitive match for the Gunners yet, and supporters on Twitter believe Ljungberg is already going about his business in the right way by including the forward:

He is indeed a potential talent. Scored 9 goals and 4 assists already in PL2. Also part of England U18.
Worth giving a chance because of his English football experience.— Pranav Tanwar (@Pranavtanwr) November 29, 2019
YAYYYYY

The future of Arsenal lies in blending the serious young talent we have with some experienced, solid operators…TJJ is another who I thought should have been with the first team….if Freddie can get the blend right & we can improve our defence..the future could be v bright!

John-Jules certainly warrants a closer look considering his impressive form for the Under 23 and Under 21 sides this season. He has been performing well in Premier League 2 while he scored against Cambridge United’s senior side in the EFL Trophy at the start of last month.
Of course, there a number of senior players he will need to get past if he wants to get game time for the first team, with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli all currently ahead of him.
