1. Tijani Reijnders may be a must have midfielder

There is no doubt that the biggest talking point after week one was Man City midfielder Tijani Reijnders, who at a starting price of £5.5m, looks to be the bargain of this year’s FPL.

His price has already risen to £5.6m, and there is no surprise, as the Dutch midfielder scored one goal, and provided as assist in Man City’s 4-0 win against Wolves.

As one of the cheaper assets in midfield, he is definitely worth getting ahead of gameweek two, but only if you’re selling a sensible player. The big mistake would be to panic sell someone like Florian Wirtz and bring in Reijnders, leaving almost £3m in budget, or taking a four point hit and making two transfers.

Tip ahead of Gameweek two: Get Reijnders in your team, but only if you are transferring out someone around the same price point, and don’t if it means making two transfers.
