Arsenal played with a lot of freedom against Watford and it demonstrates the confidence that is flowing through the Gunners’ squad at the moment.

Of course, they were playing a team struggling against relegation but that shouldn’t detract from what was a very good display in the final third of the pitch.

There will be sterner tests coming up in the very near future but, with the club now sitting in fourth place, they have set themselves up perfectly for the run-in.
