At the time of writing, it isn’t known whether Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus will be sidelined with a knee problem for a few weeks or a few months.

The Brazilian is reportedly undergoing a number of tests to determine the seriousness of the injury he picked up at the World Cup.

It could well be the case that Jesus is back to fitness near the beginning of January which would make signing a replacement unnecessary. However, if the worst fears are realised, the Gunners may consider a potential short-term fix.
