Former Dortmund boss ‘agrees deal’ to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of the season

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has reportedly agreed a deal to take over from Arsene Wenger as Arsenal boss at the end of the season.

Wenger announced that he will leave the club in the summer after nearly 22 year as manager earlier this week.

And it appears the Gunners are wasting no time in finding a replacement for the long serving Frenchman.

According to reports from Kicker, Tuchel has already signed a contract with Arsenal and will take over from Wenger at the end of the season.

Tuchel stepped down from his role at Borussia Dortmund last May, and has been out of work since.

During his two season spell with Die Borussian, Tuchel helped the side win the DFK Pokal, and guided them to 2nd and 3rd placed finishes in the Bundesliga.

Contrasting reports however suggest Tuchel is set to instead take over from Jupp Heynckes at Bayern Munich, with the veteran coach also set to leave the club at the end of the season.
